My note
One interesting insight is that we do not seem to choose actions consciously. Other processes, experience, environment, and circumstance shape what we do, while leaving us with a sense of agency. The reality we perceive is also an edited version of the recent past. The brain constantly synchronises sound, touch, and sight into a coherent whole. Events unfold, and we consciously witness them.
